Samba De Roda

Samba De Roda is the dance circle we form when we play Capoeira, its music has its own rhythm which affects how we play inside the Roda.

Samba De Roda is regarded as the mother of the modern Samba dance, and inspired Rio’s Carnival. Its sources are rooted in slaves brought from Angola and Congo to the Bahia region in Brazil and it became a UNESCO Heritage of Humanity in 2005.
